I was always struck by the role of surveillance footage in these cases. Having video evidence can be such a vital piece for investigators, but I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it must be for the family to know that such a traumatic moment was caught on camera. It's one thing to hear about what happened but another to know there's visual proof of it. For Jeffrey Anderson's loved ones, the thought of that footage existing must be incredibly painful, even if it helped bring about justice. Does anyone know if there were any efforts made to remove and limit access to the footage for the sake of the family's privacy and well-being? I hope they've found some support in dealing with that aspect of the case.
