Did anyone else find it curious that Bill's boat was never found after the accident near Duck Bay? I know it's been over 40 years, but I'm puzzled by the lack of debris or any traces of the vessel. The waters around Afognak Island can be treacherous, but it's odd that absolutely nothing was recovered. Could the boat have drifted away to another area, or is it possible there's more to the story? Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Bill's disappearance, and I keep coming back to the weather conditions on that day in 1982. From what I understand, the seas around Duck Bay can be pretty unpredictable, especially with the sudden fog that can roll in during the summer. Does anyone have any detailed information or resources about the weather reports from July 16th, 1982, in that area?
