At the time of his disappearance, he was described as being six feet tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. The clothing he was last seen wearing gives a picture of a man prepared for the Alaskan elements: Levis jeans, a shirt, overalls, a blue Adirondack parka, a hooded sweatshirt, suspenders, and hip chest waders with corks on the bottom.
