This case has been really baffling. Has anyone else been following the weather reports from the day Kenneth, William, and Susan's plane went missing? I know Alaska's weather can be unpredictable, but it seemed like the conditions between Melozi Hot Springs and Fairbanks were fairly clear at the time. Could turbulence have been a factor, or perhaps some sudden weather change that didn't show up on forecasts? I keep thinking about how challenging it must be for the search teams out there. Any experienced pilots or weather buffs in this forum who can weigh in?
Just came across this case about Kenneth, William, and Susan going missing in Alaska. Does anyone know the kind of aircraft they were flying in? I've been reading about how certain types of planes have more trouble in the Alaskan wilderness due to unpredictable weather. Could this have increased their risk? If it’s a smaller plane, it might explain why they haven’t been found yet. With those vast remote areas, it’s terrifying to think how hard it must be for search teams to cover that kind of ground. Anyone from the aviation community here who might shed more light on small aircraft safety over such terrains?
