Russell Joseph Battaglia, a 51-year-old White / Caucasian male from Elk Grove, California, died on June 23, 2025, after a shooting inside his family’s home on Triplefin Way. Police were called just after 5:35 a.m.; officers arrived to find Russell Battaglia, 51, and his 19-year-old son, Christian Battaglia, dead at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner later identified the victims as Russell Battaglia, 51, and Christian Battaglia, 19.
