Hey everyone, I’ve been reading more about Ross Alameddine and can’t help but think about the tremendous talent and potential that was lost that day at Virginia Tech. I found myself particularly struck by his choice of study. Ross was an English major with minors in French and Business, which really paints the picture of someone who was both intellectually curious and well-rounded. It's hard not to wonder about the many contributions he could have made to the world had his life not been cut short so tragically. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must still feel, but I hope they find some comfort in knowing how deeply he touched those around him. From what I gather, his humor and intelligence left a lasting impression on his peers and instructors, and that says a lot about a person's character. If there's any silver lining, it's that his memory continues to inspire discussions and perhaps changes that aim to prevent future tragedies. Does anyone remember reading something specific Ross wrote or did that left an impact on them? It’d be nice to share more about how he lived, rather than just focusing on how he died. Sending thoughts to all affected by that horrible day. ?
