Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon Daniel Perez Cueva’s story while researching the Virginia Tech massacre, and I felt compelled to share something that really struck me about him. Daniel wasn’t just a dedicated student; he was also a passionate swimmer who was part of Peru’s national swimming federation. It’s amazing to think about how he balanced such a demanding academic and athletic life. Knowing he aspired to work in international services, it's clear he had such a bright future ahead of him. What’s really sticking with me is how his life encompassed not only academic achievements but also excellence in sports. I can only imagine how proud his family and friends must have been. It’s such a devastating loss for his loved ones and all those who knew him. It makes me think about the potential every victim had and what they could have achieved if their lives weren't cut short. Wishing peace and strength to all of the victims’ families who are living with this profound loss every day. Stay safe, everyone.
