I’ve been digging into the Shawn Heaney case and something that baffles me is the lack of any wreckage or debris from the vessel. The area between Uganik Bay and Alitak Bay is known for its rough waters and unpredictable weather, which can complicate search efforts, but the complete absence of any physical evidence is puzzling. Has anyone looked into ocean currents in that region? Sometimes currents can carry bits and pieces far from the original site, spreading them out across vast areas. It could be worth re-examining these patterns to see if they offer any clues. Also, have there been any advancements in sonar or underwater tech since '85 that could be applied now? Given how passionate the local community and authorities are, maybe it's time to revisit this angle with fresh eyes and newer tech. Just a thought—interested to hear if anyone else has insights or theories on this!
