I've been following the case of Angel Luis Alicea III, and it haunts me to think about how close he was to home when tragedy struck. It’s so frustrating that, after all this time, there still hasn’t been any closure for his family. Knowing that his grandmother, Linda Nelson, is still agonizing over this loss and longing for justice just adds to the weight of it all.
I can't help but admire the bravery of Melissa and her father for trying to help when they heard the gunshots. It takes a lot of courage to run towards danger and do whatever you can to save a stranger. Their efforts, although ultimately unsuccessful, show the goodness that exists in people even in the darkest moments.
For the community, it’s crucial that we keep this case in the public eye. Someone might have seen something or heard something that seems insignificant but could be the key to solving this case. If any of you have information or even the slightest hint of a lead, please contact the authorities or Crime Line. Angel's family deserves answers and hopefully, someday soon, we'll see justice served.
I’ve been following Angel Luis Alicea III's case since it first happened, and it just feels so deeply unjust that his family still doesn’t have answers. The fact that Angel was almost home makes it all the more tragic. I can’t even begin to imagine what his grandmother, Linda Nelson, must be going through, knowing that those responsible are still out there. Kudos to the Cinnamons for stepping up and trying to help despite the danger. It shows the kind of community spirit we need more of. It’s frustrating that the police haven’t gotten the leads they need yet, but hopefully, with continued attention and community cooperation, justice will be served. I hope sharing this will inspire someone who knows something to finally come forward. Thinking of Angel’s family during this difficult time.
