I've been following the Jamal Alston case, and my heart truly goes out to his family and friends. One thing that's been on my mind is the role social media played in this case. It's both fascinating and chilling how investigators were able to piece together parts of this tragic story through Jamal's online presence. How it all unfolded just serves as a reminder of how much information we share about ourselves without even realizing the potential implications. I can't imagine what his loved ones must have felt seeing his social media become part of such a serious investigation. It's a wake-up call for all of us to think about what we put out there and how it might be used, for better or worse. My thoughts are with everyone affected as they keep pushing for peace and justice in Petersburg.
