On the evening of Friday, November 14, 2025, the life of 45-year-old Kevin Mitchell was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in north Phoenix. Just before 6 p.m., police received calls reporting shots fired near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Alice Avenue. Arriving officers discovered Mitchell on the street, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
