I've been following the case of Andre "Quanie" Webb for a while, and one aspect that really stood out to me was the incredible bond he had with his children. It's unfathomable to think about what his kids are going through, losing such a loving father at such a young age. Andre was not just a stay-at-home dad; he was truly devoted to his family. You can tell from the way people talk about him that he placed so much joy in those everyday moments—teaching his kids, playing with them, and just being present in their lives. It's hard to imagine what Mother's Day and Father's Day might feel like for his children in the coming years. They'll have to navigate milestones and achievements without him there to cheer them on. His legacy truly lives on in them, though, and I hope the community continues to rally around his family. It's cases like these that remind us of the long-lasting ripples of violence and how deep the need is for compassion and support in its aftermath.
