I recently came across the case of Kawaun "Dro" Quarles and just can't stop thinking about the ripple effects on his loved ones and the Petersburg community. Whenever someone so young is lost in such a senseless way, it feels like an entire future is stolen. I was wondering if anyone has come across articles or info about community efforts or vigils that might have been held in his memory? It seems like keeping his spirit and story alive can sometimes offer a sliver of solace for those who knew him. If anyone out there has more insight into how the community has been rallying or any updates from the police or local news, it would be great to share here. My thoughts are with Dro's family and friends as they continue to seek justice.
