I can't begin to imagine the pain Aleigha’s family is enduring—losing someone so vibrant and full of life in such a sudden and tragic way. What really baffles me is the sentence Wagner received. Six months seems incredibly short for ending a life, whether it was accidental or not. I understand there's legal nuance with involuntary manslaughter, but I wonder if the punishment truly fits the crime. It's particularly complicated since Wagner was a Navy Sailor. You'd think someone trained in handling firearms would be more cautious. Does anyone have thoughts on how military training might impact cases like this one? Are there similar cases where the outcome was different due to military involvement? This situation just seems to raise so many questions about accountability and justice.
