It's been over six years since Simeon Saplan Lim's death, and I keep thinking about the firefighters and first responders who had to deal with such a horrific scene. It must be incredibly difficult to arrive at a call expecting a fire and instead discovering a loss of life. My heart goes out to everyone involved on that night, from Simeon's family and friends to the responders who worked courageously but unfortunately couldn't change the outcome. This case serves as a somber reminder that mental health support is crucial for everyone. It's heartbreaking to think about the pain Simeon was experiencing, and I hope his story encourages more open discussions about mental health and seeking help.
