Visiting Patricia’s memorial service last month really brought home the impact of her loss on the community. I spoke with some of the guests who shared stories of her kindness and sense of humor. It was clear that she touched so many lives. What struck me most was seeing how despite the pain, her family rallied together to support each other and Patricia’s sons during the service. Christina, one of her sisters, delivered a touching tribute that highlighted not just the love she had for her sister but for her nephews, ensuring they remember their mom for the wonderful person she was. The strength and unity of the family during such a difficult time were truly inspiring, and it reminds us all of the critical role family plays in our lives. Patricia's spirit undoubtedly lives on through them.
