I've been thinking a lot about the influence that social media can have on young relationships, especially in cases like Daemon's. It's chilling to consider that something as seemingly innocuous as a phone could be at the heart of such a tragic situation. We see teens sharing more of their personal lives than ever before, and sometimes, that transparency comes with serious consequences. Does anyone else feel like we need more discussions about healthy boundaries and conflict resolution among teens, particularly in the digital space? My heart goes out to Daemon's family and friends—losing someone so young and full of potential is indescribably painful. I hope that, moving forward, communities can find ways to better support their youth and prevent senseless tragedies like this one.
