I’ve been following the Tillery case closely and, like many of you, am haunted by the question of why someone would do such a terrible thing. Geraldine was simply answering her door at home—a place where she should have felt safe. I can’t imagine how terrifying and senseless this must seem to her family and friends. It’s really upsetting that, despite efforts, there hasn’t been any indication of who’s responsible yet.
I read that the assailant fled westbound on Concord Avenue, which makes me think there might be witnesses who saw something that could help the investigation but may not realize it. If anybody was in that area around 11 p.m. on May 5, 2018, and noticed anything unusual, even something that seemed minor at the time, I urge you to contact the authorities. We often second-guess small details, thinking they’re not important, when they could make all the difference in a case like this.
The Richmond community’s support is really crucial right now, and I hope that sharing what we know might jog someone’s memory or encourage them to come forward. Geraldine and her family deserve answers and justice.
Has anyone else noticed that this case seems eerily similar to a couple of other unsolved cases in Richmond from around the same time? I remember hearing about similar details—a person dressed in black knocking on doors late at night. It makes me wonder if there could be a connection, or even the same person involved.
I feel so much for Geraldine's family; waiting for answers must be incredibly difficult. It's unsettling to think that someone could just show up at your door and cause so much devastation. The community really needs to stay vigilant and share any information, no matter how small it might seem.
Does anyone know if there were any other unusual activities or incidents reported in the neighborhood leading up to that night? Maybe there's something the community overlooked that could be key to helping the detectives?
Hoping for justice for Geraldine.
I was just reading through some posts and wanted to share my thoughts on the tragic case of Geraldine R. Tillery. It's truly devastating to see that even after all these years, her family still doesn't have the closure and justice they deserve.
What's been weighing on my mind is the fact that the assailant was seen driving westbound on Concord Avenue. I can't help but wonder if there were any traffic cameras or witnesses on that route who might have noticed something suspicious. It feels like footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras could provide some leads.
It's baffling and really unsettling to think that someone could commit such a brutal act and then just disappear without a trace. I hope anyone who might have seen anything that night can find it in their heart to come forward. Even the smallest detail might be the missing piece detectives need to crack this case.
Sending all the strength and hopes for justice to Geraldine’s family. They deserve to know what happened to their loved one.
