Hey everyone, I've been following Earl Hughes' case closely, and I stumbled upon some worrying stats from around that time. Did you know that the West Side of Chicago, where Earl was tragically killed, was one of the areas hardest hit by violence in the mid-2000s? It's just devastating to think about the environment he was living in, and how it may have impacted his life and others around him. As someone who's had family living in Chicago, I know firsthand how stressful and scary it can be worrying about loved ones in these neighborhoods. Earl's story is just one of too many, and it really highlights the need for more support and resources for these communities. Sending my thoughts to Robert Hughes and their family. It's gut-wrenching to lose someone so young and full of potential.
