Earl Hughes, a 24-year-old man, was fatally shot on October 30, 2007, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place on the city’s West Side and was reported as a homicide. Hughes was notably the older brother of Robert Hughes, a freshman running back for the University of Notre Dame at the time.
