I'm really intrigued by the details that have come out about the events leading up to the night Ike Lamont Phelps was tragically killed. I've been reading up on community board discussions, and some people have pointed out that the Millgarden South area had been experiencing higher-than-usual disturbances around that time. There were a few reports of suspicious activity in the neighborhood leading up to September 5th, which makes me wonder if Ike’s murder was somehow linked to something bigger. Has anyone else heard about this, or could it just be a coincidence? It just breaks my heart that his family, especially his kids, are left searching for answers. I'm hoping that anyone with any information will come forward to help bring some peace to Ike’s loved ones. It's crucial for the community to work together in moments like these and not let the violence overshadow the loving memory of those we've lost.
