Hey everyone, I've been following the Raghib Ismail Brooks case and wanted to touch on something that’s been on my mind. While we all focus on the tragic loss and the pursuit of justice, let’s not forget the ripple effects this has had on those closest to him—especially his kids, Pierre and Genesis. Losing a parent is incredibly tough at any age, but for these young ones, it's life-changing. I can only hope they have a strong support system to lean on as they navigate through this heartbreaking time. Also, it's important to shed light on the broader implications of gun violence in communities like Newport News. It’s gut-wrenching to think about how prevalent these incidents are and the urgency with which we need to tackle the core issues. As we await the legal outcome for Antione Harris, I hope the community continues to rally together to bring about positive change. Keeping Raghib’s family, especially his children, in my thoughts.
