I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this case has had on the families involved, especially Noah’s. My heart goes out to his parents, James and Marilyn. It’s been almost four years since they lost their son, and I imagine the grief never fully goes away. I wonder if the legal twists in this case have made it even harder for them to find closure. It must be so confusing to navigate the updates, especially with the grand jury indicting Brooks months after the initial charges. Just knowing their child was involved in such a risky situation must weigh heavily on them too. I hope they have a strong support system to lean on. Has anyone heard any updates on how the community in Spotsylvania County is doing? The lockdown of those schools must have been terrifying for everyone involved, and I can’t imagine what it’s like for classmates who knew Noah to see this unfold. Thoughts are with everyone dealing with the aftermath.
