I'm really puzzled by the situation with Toby Anderson's uncle, Almer "Billy" Wright. While reading up on the case, I saw that Wright was convicted of sex crimes years after Toby disappeared. It's hard not to wonder if there could be a connection there. The fact that Denise McGarity, Toby's cousin, has been digging into this and trying to get searches organized really shows how determined the family is to find him. But it's frustrating that they hit roadblocks, like having the property search canceled at the last minute. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for them, especially with such lingering questions about Wright's potential involvement. Does anyone here know if there’s been any progress lately, or if the authorities have considered exploring this angle further? It seems like such an important lead to follow up on, given Wright's past. Any insights or updates would be great to hear.
