I still can't wrap my head around the outcome of Elijah Chavis' case. It's hard to see the justice system at work and feel like something went wrong. I keep thinking about Elijah's family and the immense pain they're going through. It must be devastating to have no resolution or sense of closure after all this time. I hope they have a strong support system around them. Also, it's worrying that two homicides happened on the same day in Portsmouth. The community's safety should be a priority for everyone involved. I'm just hoping for some healing for all who were touched by these events.
