Has anyone else been thinking about the role Deandre played in mentoring the kids in his community? I feel like this aspect of his life doesn't get enough attention, but it's so important. I read that he was an assistant coach for little league football and spent time working with mentally impaired and special needs adults. It's clear he had a big heart and was dedicated to making a positive impact on young lives.
The idea that someone who gave so much of themselves to help others could be taken away in such a violent manner is really unsettling. It makes you wonder what kind of world we're living in. I hope the Portsmouth community continues to carry forward his legacy by supporting and nurturing its youth. I also hope anyone with information will come forward so that his family can find some sense of justice and peace.
Has anyone else been struck by the fact that Deandre was found on Avondale Road while another victim was discovered on Allard Road? It makes me wonder if there's significance to the locations. Were they together before the incidents occurred, or could it possibly be random? My heart truly goes out to Deandre's family and friends. It's hard enough losing someone who clearly meant so much to many in the community, but to not have answers is unimaginable. I hope that sharing different perspectives and ideas here can somehow assist in bringing justice for Deandre. If anyone has insights into the area or potential connections, please share. His community deserves to find peace and resolution.
