I've been thinking a lot about the aftermath of Cairee D. Thomas's tragic death and the impact it's had on his family and community. His mother, Michelle Thomas, has shown incredible strength amid unimaginable grief. She not only lost a son but also had to navigate the emotional and financial challenges of his funeral. It touches my heart to see the community rally around her, supporting the GoFundMe campaign she started. It's times like these that remind us of the humanity and compassion we need to show each other. I hope the investigation sees some progress soon and brings Cairee’s family the justice they deserve.
