I’ve been following Jarell Hairston's case since it happened, and I still can’t believe we don’t have more answers. What gets me is how this happened in a somewhat busy location like a gas station. It’s unnerving to think that someone could commit such a violent act in a public space like that and just get away. My thoughts go out to Jarell's family and friends who must be going through so much right now. I really hope someone who was in the area that night might remember something, even the smallest detail, that could help the investigation. It’s frustrating to see how gun violence just keeps shattering lives in Norfolk. I hope his family finds some justice soon. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts or vigils held in his memory? Sometimes local awareness can spur people to come forward with information.
I've been thinking a lot about the security footage from that Shell gas station on Saint Paul’s Boulevard. Does anyone know if the police mentioned reviewing any video from the night Jarell Hairston was killed? I can't help but wonder if there might be some crucial evidence just waiting to be found. It must be so difficult for Jarell's family to keep reliving that night without any answers. If someone out there knows anything, I hope they come forward.
