I'm still trying to wrap my head around this awful crime. It's incredibly frustrating and sad that Surita's case seems to have hit a wall. I was reading some articles about the area around 3500 East Richmond Road, and it struck me that the Oakwood neighborhood is a fairly tight-knit community. I can't imagine how unsettling it must be for residents to know this happened right in their midst. From what I've gathered, neighbors are usually pretty aware of what's happening around them, so I wonder if someone saw or heard something key that they might not realize could be important. Even the smallest detail could help the investigation. If you're from the area or know anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers. Surita's family deserves answers, and it's time for the community to rally and support each other in finding justice.
