I’ve been following Johnathan King’s case closely and I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on his children. It’s one thing to know what happened, but imagining these kids growing up without their dad just breaks my heart. They’re so young and have to visit a gravesite to feel connected to him. It’s so unfair. In cases like this, it’s important to remember the human side – Johnathan was more than a victim. He was a father, a son, a friend, someone deeply loved. I can’t even begin to understand what his mom, Tasha, is going through, fighting day in and day out for justice while also carrying the weight of her grandchildren’s loss. Her strength is admirable, and I hope that one day soon someone finds the courage to speak up and bring some peace to this grieving family. The violence needs to stop, and it feels like the least we can do is stand with them during this tough time.
