Hey everyone, I'm relatively new here, but Michael Paul Reid's case really struck a chord with me. I was reading through some news articles and discussions, and it got me thinking about the impact community outreach can have in such tragic situations. The Newport News Police have been doing these C.A.R.E. walks, trying to connect with locals and dig up any info they can, which I find commendable. It made me wonder about the power of collective community memories in solving cases like this. Sometimes people don’t even realize they saw or heard something crucial until they're prompted to think back. Have any of you seen examples where community efforts contributed key evidence in unsolved cases? It just seems like such a strong testament to what people can do when they come together for a cause. Sending thoughts to Michael's family and friends. It must be incredibly tough to see unresolved questions hanging over such a profound loss. Hoping that somehow, in some small way, community involvement can lead to the answers they need. If anyone else has insights or similar stories, I'd love to hear them.
