Has anyone else been following the Norman James case in Norfolk? I was deeply struck by how quickly things spiraled out of control that night. It's absolutely unimaginable to think about the last moments of Norman's life, expecting nothing more than a conversation, and then being caught in such senseless violence. I can't help but think about the people who loved him and the grief they must be experiencing. Something that's been on my mind is how the store's surveillance footage played a pivotal role in this case. I know it's awful that it had to record such a tragic event, but without it, there might have been so many unanswered questions. It feels strange, like a double-edged sword—grateful for the evidence it provided to bring justice yet saddened that it couldn’t prevent the tragedy. I hope that Norman’s friends and family can find some peace and healing in knowing that his killer is being held accountable. It's comforting in a way to know that technology, despite everything, helped push for justice. My heart goes out to all those affected, and I sincerely hope they find some comfort in the verdict.
