Has anyone else been thinking about the role of prior incidents in situations like Glenn Kreps' tragic death? It's haunting to consider how past conflicts might have influenced the events on A View Avenue that day. It sounds like Kreps recognized the boy from an earlier altercation, which sadly escalated to an unimaginable level. I keep thinking about how something as dangerous as a gun ended up in the hands of a 14-year-old. How do we even begin to address this so it doesn't happen again? My thoughts are with Kreps' loved ones; it must be so difficult to come to terms with how a seemingly chance encounter turned fatal. I hope they're finding some comfort and strength in each other and the community as they navigate such a profound loss.
