Has anyone else been following the trials related to the Portsmouth quadruple homicide? I'm trying to wrap my head around how the testimony of a known jailhouse informant like Michael Canty became such a pivotal part of the case. It's deeply frustrating for the families of Oleisha, Georgio, Ashley, and Samuel. Canty’s credibility issues were so glaring, but he still managed to play a central role. It's sad to think about the pressure their loved ones must have felt, hoping for justice only to face the reality that crucial testimony was unreliable. I’m left wondering why there wasn't stronger evidence or more witnesses to support the case. It’s almost like the legal system failed these families not once, but twice. Anyone else feel the same way? What do you think could have been done differently?
