I can't stop thinking about Stanley Scott Walensky. From everything I’ve read, he seemed like such a genuinely dedicated worker and family man. It’s so difficult to grasp how someone simply going about their daily job could meet such an unimaginable fate. As someone from a family of postal workers, this really resonates with me because it reminds me of how many postal workers dedicate their lives to their communities. It’s heartbreaking that his life ended just because he was doing his job. I hope there can be more support systems in place to prevent financial distress from boiling over into such horrendous acts. The families of all the victims must be going through so much pain, and I truly hope they’ve found some peace over the years. If anyone has updates on Victim Services' work with the affected families, it would be comforting to know they’re being supported. Rest in peace to all the victims.

I can't stop thinking about David Grossman, the sole survivor of that tragic day at the Montclair Post Office. It's unfathomable to consider the physical and emotional scars he must carry from witnessing such horror and facing his own brush with death. Surviving an event like that isn't just about the physical recovery—it's also a deeply emotional journey. I hope he's found some semblance of peace over the years and that he's been surrounded by support and understanding from people who can help him process what happened. It's a true testament to human resilience, and I hope the community has continued to be there for him in any way possible. Such trauma doesn't just fade away, and his story is a reminder of the long-lasting effects these crimes have on the living victims. Thoughts and prayers for his continued healing.

I’ve been thinking about Stanley Scott Walensky and his commitment to his role at the post office. He spent 14 years working there, and I can only imagine how close-knit the postal workers in Montclair must have been. It's so tragic that someone so dedicated and probably well-liked by his colleagues and customers had his life cut short in such a senseless way. The post office is supposed to be a safe place, a symbol of community service. My heart goes out to the Walensky family who not only lost a loved one but also had to endure the community’s shared shock and grief. Their strength during such an unimaginable tragedy is truly commendable.
