I was reading about Bryan Breen, and it's hard not to notice just how much he seems to have touched the lives around him. I came across a note mentioning how he loved to spend time reading and cooking. It makes me think about how we sometimes take for granted the simple joys of life and how Bryan's life, and his enjoyment of those everyday things, really emphasize that. I can't imagine what his family must be going through. Their request for donations to the American Cancer Society says a lot about the kind of person Bryan was—always thinking of others. Attending a vigil or service is a small way to offer support, but it's clear the community is really pulling together to honor his memory. It's just so terribly sad to see such a bright future taken away in such a senseless manner. Sending thoughts of strength and peace to everyone affected.
