I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on the community and Shante Spivey's family. It's absolutely devastating to see families torn apart by this kind of violence. As a parent myself, I can only imagine the pain her loved ones are going through right now. What really stands out to me is how these incidents often leave more questions than answers, and the sense of justice feels so far away. I hope the community rallies together to support one another during these difficult times. Sending strength and love to everyone affected by this tragic event.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of media coverage this case is getting? It's troubling, to say the least. Shante Spivey and Akbar Muhammad's families deserve answers and justice, but it feels like this tragedy is slipping through the cracks. I can't imagine the pain of losing a loved one like this and then not seeing any progress or attention from the public or authorities. Maybe increased coverage could put some pressure on the investigation? I really hope there's an update soon for the sake of their families. Does anyone have any thoughts on ways to raise awareness or ensure this case isn't forgotten?

I just can't stop thinking about the impact of this tragic event on the families, especially Shante Spivey's loved ones. It’s incomprehensible to try and grasp the pain they're going through right now. Shante, being so young and with her entire life ahead of her, was brutally taken away in an act of violence that none of us can truly make sense of. To know she was caught up in something so horrific, sitting in what should have been the safety and everyday normalcy of a car ride, is just haunting. My heart goes out to her family and friends as they navigate these incredibly trying times. It’s so crucial for us as a community to come together and support them, and each other, to demand answers and, importantly, justice. Safety in Newark is becoming an increasingly urgent concern. It feels like local authorities need to bolster their efforts to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again. No one should have to live in fear of such random and senseless acts. Here’s hoping we see some progress soon, both in catching those responsible and in making the community feel safe again.
