I can't stop thinking about the role of Khalil Thomas in all this. It's puzzling how someone can watch such a horrific act and not intervene. I know he didn't pull the trigger, but possessing a weapon there shows a level of involvement that's hard to overlook. It's just tragic all around, especially for Angelo's family, who have to grapple with the fact that Khalil was right there and could've potentially stopped it. I hope this case serves as a lesson that being a bystander to violence still has its consequences. I can only imagine the pain Angelo's loved ones are feeling knowing someone was there and chose not to act.
