Michael Edwin Hearon, a 51-year-old from Happy Valley, Tennessee, disappeared on August 23, 2008, while tending to his 100-acre farm near the Great Smoky Mountains. Hearon had gone out on his green Yamaha Wolverine ATV to mow the property. He was last seen by neighbors riding his ATV around 11 a.m., but he never returned home.
