Has anyone else been following the Jamal McBride case from Newark? I've been thinking a lot about how proximity to places like the Exxon gas station might affect the investigation. It seems like there would be plenty of CCTV footage available, which makes me wonder why there haven't been any breakthroughs yet. I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be for his family not to have answers after all this time. It must be a real blow to the community as well, knowing that there is still no closure. I truly hope the police have more leads than we know about and that they're just being tight-lipped to protect the integrity of the investigation. But with technology these days, like cameras and even social media monitoring, one would think it wouldn't be so hard to track down the perpetrators. Hoping for justice soon, and I’m sure Jamal’s family is in the hearts and minds of everyone who hears about this tragic event.
