Has anyone else been following the theory that Alvis might have been targeted because of his work on animal cruelty cases? It makes sense given how many enemies someone in his position might make. The fact that he was shot while just stepping into his own home to do something as simple as bringing his wife a soda is chilling. It’s a stark reminder of the risks these officers face, even when just going about their everyday lives. I can only imagine how his family must be feeling, especially his brother who was right there and had to witness everything. It’s such a profound loss for them and for the community. I hope they find whoever did this soon, for Alvis' loved ones and for justice’s sake.
