Has anyone else been following Bilal D. Rodgers' case from Newark? I've been thinking a lot about how gun violence affects families, not just the immediate victim. Bilal's mother, Quanetta, and the rest of his family must be going through so much right now. It’s really concerning that despite the tragedy, the authorities still don't have leads or suspects lined up. It makes you wonder about the broader issues with gun crimes in Newark and how these crimes go unresolved. I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a child so suddenly and have to wait for justice without any clear answers. If anyone has updates, please share. Would love to hear thoughts on what more can be done to prevent this cycle of violence.
