Has anyone else been thinking about the neighborhood dynamics where Travis Swepson's body was discovered? I’ve been reading up on how Concord Street and Frelinghuysen Avenue have been hotspots for incidents like this, but it's just so upsetting to imagine it happening in a place where families live and kids play. I'm from a nearby area, and we've been struggling with similar issues. It makes me wonder how community engagement could play a role in preventing these tragedies. I know it's not a fix-all solution, but perhaps more community programs and neighborhood watches could help bridge the gap between law enforcement and residents, creating a sense of collective vigilance.
I'm hopeful that Travis’s case will eventually see justice, and in the meantime, maybe we can push for more proactive measures that could prevent such future tragedies. Anyone have thoughts on successful community programs that have worked elsewhere?
