I'm still in shock over the events that unfolded in Ringwood back in 2017. It's hard to truly grasp how a peaceful community can suddenly become the center of such a tragic story. I’ve been thinking a lot about the neighbors on Van Dunk Lane and how they must have felt that night. Imagine, one minute you're going about your evening, and the next, you hear a gunshot and your world changes. It's chilling to think about the dynamics of domestic violence and how things can escalate so quickly. Knowing that Nicole and Clinton had a teenage son together just breaks my heart even more. How does one begin to explain this to a child who’s lost their mother so violently? The courage and strength the community showed in rallying around Frankie is commendable. It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of coming together to support those affected in the wake of violence. My thoughts are with Nicole’s family and friends, especially her son, who has to navigate this world without his mom. If there’s one silver lining, it's seeing a community unite in the face of such overwhelming grief.
