I’ve been following Ahmid Murray’s case for a while, and something that constantly bothers me is the setting where this tragic event took place. The Crestbury Apartments have a notoriously high rate of violent crime, and it makes me wonder how that environment contributes to cases like this going unsolved. It’s devastating to think about how many families have been affected by similar incidents in the area, and Ahmid's family deserves answers just as much as any other. With no arrests or significant updates after all this time, I can't help but feel that more needs to be done to address the systemic issues leading to such violence. Has anyone heard of any community efforts or police initiatives in Camden that are aimed at reducing violence or improving safety in these apartment complexes? I'd love to understand more about what's being done to prevent future tragedies.
