I’ve been following the tragic case of Saiheed O'Bryant, and something that's been on my mind is the effectiveness of the ShotSpotter system. It feels like a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's great that the police were notified quickly because of it, but on the other hand, I wonder if it's truly helping in bringing any justice or preventing further violence. The fact that no arrests were made right away is really frustrating. Saiheed didn’t deserve this, and I can only imagine the pain his family and friends are going through. I hope the community steps up with any information they might have. Camden has seen enough tragedies like these, and it’s time for some real solutions. Anyone else have thoughts on how these tech systems could be more effective, or are there other approaches we should be considering?
