I’ve been reflecting on the support or lack thereof that Dante Whitaker's family might have received during the trial of the two brothers convicted of his murder. Going through such a horrific event must have been incredibly tough for them, and I can only hope they found comfort in the community and through each other. It’s so important for us as a society to rally around families dealing with tragedies like this one. Were there any local organizations or community groups that provided assistance or support during the trial? I’d love to hear about any positive efforts to help them if anyone has more information.
