I was just reading about Jerrel Tucker’s case, and it’s incredibly upsetting to think about how his family must feel with the lack of updates and arrests after all this time. A young life taken so abruptly and senselessly—it's just unimaginable.
I feel like it makes us all reflect on how precious and fleeting life is, and it's a grim reminder of the violence that too many communities face regularly. I can't stop thinking about his loved ones who are still without answers, holding onto hope that someone will step forward with new information. They deserve closure, and Jerrel deserves justice.
It also makes me wonder about the circumstances around such crimes. With it happening in a parking lot around 9:10 p.m., you’d think maybe someone saw something—perhaps a passerby or a resident nearby. I hope people realize that even the smallest detail might help and come forward. Let's not let Jerrel become just another statistic.
