I was reading about Gregory Robinson's case, and I just can't stop thinking about the community impact of these tragedies. Knowing he went to Simeon Career Academy really hits home because it's supposed to be a place where kids can dream big and work towards their futures. Instead, Gregory's life was cut short by the kind of violence no child should have to face. It's so important for communities to come together—not just to remember Gregory's bravery, but to really push for change so that no other family has to go through this. I can't even imagine what his family and friends are feeling. Hoping that one day justice is served and that his incredible sacrifice is never forgotten.

I’ve been following Gregory Robinson’s case, and it really got me thinking about the community support systems—or lack thereof—that exist for families affected by such violence. Are there any local organizations that were active back in 2009 or even now that assist families like Gregory’s in coping with these tragedies? It seems like these families must feel incredibly isolated after such a soul-crushing loss. Also, it’s deeply concerning to think about how Gregory’s selfless act of protecting those kids somehow remains without justice. It makes you wonder if there’s enough being done to support these families and maybe even to help prevent things like this from happening in the first place. If anyone knows more about resources that helped Gregory’s family or similar cases, I’d love to hear about it.
