The murder of Donald Goines and Shirley Sailor has baffled me for years. What gets me is the sheer number of potential leads that seem to have gone nowhere. Given Goines' past, there must have been a long list of people he crossed paths with, whether from his days in crime or folks who might've had grievances. It's tragic that someone who turned his life around to channel his experiences into such powerful stories ended up like the characters in his books. I can't help but wonder about Shirley Sailor, too. While most discussions focus on Goines, Shirley's life and her connection with Donald are crucial parts of this story. What were her experiences in that shared life? It’s heartbreaking to think of the loved ones they left behind, still without answers after all this time. Anyone have thoughts on how this case might finally get the attention it needs to be solved?
